Interfaith “Babka” Diplomacy

the Karma Project

Babka Diplomacy, takes the ancient practice of “breaking bread” literally, creating interfaith engagement and resource sharing amongst community faith leaders in Ulster County, NY. Utilizing the Babka, a Jewish dessert, over the course of a year this Karma Project will bring together leaders from across the faith spectrum to work together to create a more resilient and cohesive community, by sharing pathways of support and by providing greater access to social services for the most vulnerable.
