Filling the Community Fridge

the Karma Project

The Catskill Community Fridge, located at the corner of Water and Bridge Street in Catskill Village, provides free, unrestricted food 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

United We Om is grateful to be able to fill the fridge with food twice a week, for the next 10-weeks.

This truly beautiful expression of Karma Yoga serves mostly families with young children and older adults.

The Catskill Community Fridge is supported by a grassroots, non-hierarchical collective of volunteers who fundraise, shop, clean, and repair the fridge.

The volunteer network divides financial donations and shops weekly to fill the fridge and pantry with meal staples, ensuring consistency in stock.

United We Om is deeply inspired by this incredible collective of humans!
