Yoga for Teen Mental Health

About the Karma Project

United We Om is grateful to be providing weekly yoga classes to the teenage girls at Harmony Heights, a therapeutic and educational program for young women who are dealing with mental health struggles that make it impossible for them to attend a traditional high school.

The weekly classes will focus on promoting body positivity, decreasing stress and anxiety while sharing tools for increasing reliance on positive coping mechanisms.

This project will share practice for 20 weeks, with both staff and students, as a part of Harmony Heights’ summer school and fall curriculums.
